We are always seeking dedicated people to provide friendly, professional, enthusiastic support in a Wellbeing Coach capacity to help our customers improve and maintain their health and wellbeing.
The role will be based from your home virtual office or therapeutic space. The primary responsibility of a Mindstar Wellbeing Coach is to confidently engage with our customers by reaching out via telephone or video conferencing, to offer and provide coaching to assist them identify issues and find solutions to transform their outlook, and to help them set goals to improve their lifestyle and wellbeing.
The work involves creating a positive, highly supportive relationship with each customer and providing ongoing follow-up and motivational support to assist them to achieve the health improvement they desire. As we are expanding this work within our business, we require team members who are flexible with regards to the shifting and shaping of responsibilities, that may develop as the work evolves.
No hours are guaranteed but there is a capacity for this coaching work to continue to expand in volume over time.

To demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, sensitivity and respect when dealing with our customers;

A love for technology and all things digital – with the ability to learn, use and support customers through the Mindstar solution and other online programs and software;
Good knowledge of Google Workspace and MS Office;
Be community-minded and motivated to make positive change.
Duties:
Coaching sessions conducted via phone or video conference in accordance with program and client requirements - a mix of these is possible;
Managing your caseload - including customer reach out, making initial booking, sending text reminders for follow up sessions and maintaining the program schedule;
Ability to complete assessments and intakes to ensure appropriate arrangements for referrals as required;
Be available to attend online meetings;
Reporting on sessions completed and customer progress;
Invoicing Mindstar Head Office for payment of sessions completed;
Requirements:
Contractor positions are required to hold an ABN
Current Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance certificate that shows:
Professional indemnity insurance no less than $20 million per occurrence
Public liability insurance no less than $20 million per occurrence
Current national police check (Copy of the certification must not be older than 6 months)
Must live and be eligible to work in Australia
Own office equipment required (laptop, reliable internet and phone)
Complete all training provided by Mindstar
Follow key quality and internal organisational processes that ensure complaint service delivery
Ability to implement wellbeing strategies and provide resources to our customers
Ensure the maintenance, accuracy and confidentiality of records including, but not limited to: customer files, service reporting and data collection
Assist with the promotion and marketing of the service as required
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 3 years demonstrated clinical work experience
Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling and applicable membership/registration:
For Counsellors - a minimum of Level 3 membership with ACA or PACFA Clinical members
For Psychologists - a minimum of General AHPRA Registration
For Social Workers - Accredited Mental Health Social Worker or Clinical Social Worker with psychological training and experience
Demonstrated knowledge of health and wellbeing practices
Previous experience with complex mental health conditions and/or individuals at risk
Clear understanding of a trauma informed practice framework
Must have an external clinical supervision
