We are looking for a User Experience Design Intern to join our UX team that can participate in the design and creation of innovative digital products & properties. You will bridge the gap between design, business, and technology by creating engaging mobile and desktop experiences that drive consumer decisions and implement the design within our custom Content Management System. The UX team not only works on user-facing web properties but also works hand in hand with our engineering teams to design the internal products used by our business operations staff.

 

Responsibilities:

• Create clean, innovative, and usable design concepts
• Positive attitude with a desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring team-centered environment
• Work within all phases of the design process, from wireframing concepts and mockups to final hand-off to developers and stakeholders
• Translate wireframes into high-quality user interface designs using industry best practices
• Deliver pixel-perfect implementation of design comps across multiple breakpoints to ensure the best UX across various browsers and devices.
• Apply design and development best practices
• Clear and effective communication skills when articulating design concepts and rationales
• Proactively identify and suggest solutions to resolve user experience problems and friction points
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for typography and visual hierarchy
• Collaborate with other UX team members and participate in review sessions

Requirements

 

• Currently enrolled in a college or certification program or a recent graduate in the United States
• Experience developing user flows, process flows, wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes
• Experience with industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Creative Suite) and UX tools such as Figma or similar tools
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
