This role places you at the heart of the convergence between Web3 and the creator economy through our innovative Autheo Layer-1 blockchain platform (Testnet Launching in September) and GO WFO extreme sports creator network built on Autheo.

Future Compensation Plans

While this is initially an equity and token role, our comprehensive tokenomics plan includes offering tokens to co-founders upon completion. Following our anticipated public token sale anticipated by January, we plan to introduce salaries to supplement equity and tokens.

About the Organization

Launch Lends has been under development for over 3.5 years. We are gearing up to launch:

1. Autheo: Our Layer-1 blockchain platform tailored for creators to own, expand, and monetize their networks.
2. GO WFO: The first Layer-2 Creator Network focused on extreme sports operating on the Autheo platform.

These initiatives are set to transform the creator industry, projected to reach $500 billion by 2027, and the extreme sports market, an exciting sports sector with over 400 million active partipants worldwide. 

Position Role: Layer-2 Blockchain Developer for Autheo Layer-1 Blockchain

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Layer-2 Blockchain Developer to lead the design and development of a Layer-2 platform for rollup blockchain deployment on the Autheo Layer-1 Cosmos blockchain. This role will focus on building scalable Layer-2 solutions that integrate seamlessly with Autheo's Layer-1 blockchain, utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Cosmos SDK, Tendermint (CometBFT), and Rust. As part of this dynamic team, you will contribute to expanding the Autheo ecosystem by enabling rapid deployment of Layer-2 solutions and rollups for various applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Layer-2 Blockchain Design and Development:

   • Architect and develop the Layer-2 platform for rollup and Layer-2 blockchain deployment on Autheo's Cosmos Layer-1 blockchain.
   • Leverage Cosmos SDK, Tendermint (CometBFT), and IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) protocols to ensure interoperability with the Layer-1 blockchain.
   • Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure Layer-2 rollup solutions (Optimistic Rollups, ZK-Rollups).

2. SDK and Development Tools:

   • Develop a Layer-2 SDK to enable third-party developers to build rollup solutions and Layer-2 networks seamlessly.
   • Provide comprehensive documentation and example projects to onboard developers onto the Layer-2 platform.

3. Blockchain Features and Integration:

   • Design and deploy features such as smart contract execution environments, token bridges, data availability solutions, and modular frameworks for Layer-2 deployment.
   • Ensure Layer-2 solutions maintain high throughput, low latency, and enhanced security.
   • Implement cryptographic proofs (e.g., ZK-SNARKs, fraud proofs) to enable trustless interaction between Layer-2 and Layer-1.

4. Interoperability and Scalability:

   • Optimize cross-chain communication and data exchange between Layer-1 and Layer-2 solutions using IBC and custom APIs.
   • Address scalability challenges by improving transaction throughput and reducing gas costs on the Layer-1 network.

5. Performance Optimization:

   • Optimize Layer-2 rollup infrastructure for high availability and fault tolerance.
   • Conduct performance testing and deploy enhancements to maximize throughput and minimize latency.

6. Collaboration and Team Leadership:

   • Work closely with the Autheo Layer-1 blockchain team to ensure seamless integration between Layer-1 and Layer-2 networks.
   • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and external partners to define and execute Layer-2 strategies.
   • Mentor junior developers and contribute to building a robust development team.

7. Compliance and Security:

   • Implement security best practices for Layer-2 solutions, including transaction verification, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic techniques.
   • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for blockchain development.

8. Testing and Deployment:

   • Build and maintain testnet environments for Layer-2 solutions to ensure quality assurance before mainnet deployment.
   • Provide ongoing support and updates for deployed Layer-2 solutions, addressing bugs and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

1. Academic and Professional Background:

   • PhD in Computer Science, Distributed Systems, Cryptography, or a related field is highly preferred.
   • Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and its underlying principles, including consensus mechanisms and cryptographic techniques.

2. Blockchain Development Expertise:

   • Minimum of 5 years of experience in blockchain development, with at least 2 years focused on Cosmos SDK and Layer-1 blockchain solutions.
   • Proven experience in building and deploying Layer-2 solutions, such as rollups, sidechains, or state channels.

3. Programming Proficiency:

   • Proficiency in Golang for Cosmos SDK development.
   • Expertise in Rust for Layer-2 smart contract and rollup execution environments.
   • Familiarity with other languages like Python, JavaScript, or Solidity is a plus.

4. Interoperability and Integration Skills:

   • Thorough understanding of APIs, SDKs, and integration methodologies for Web3 and Web2 applications.
   • Experience with Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) and cross-chain interoperability protocols.

5. Technical Mastery:

   • Deep understanding of decentralized systems, data structures, and algorithms.
   • Familiarity with cryptographic techniques like ZK-SNARKs, ZK-STARKs, and fraud proofs.
   • Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions.

6. Additional Skills (Preferred):

   • Experience with AI integration in decentralized environments.
   • Hands-on knowledge of Layer-1 blockchain architectures.
   • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and scalability.

7. Soft Skills:

   • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
   • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a distributed team.
