Compensation & Growth Path
This is a part time equity / token-based cofounder opportunity. You will receive equity in Launch Legends, Autheo, and the WFO Creator Network, along with token allocations in the Autheo blockchain. We have already completed an initial financing round to support infrastructure and marketing, and are currently in discussions with VCs and crypto investors to fund expansion and salaries.  Salaried compensation is expected to begin within 4 to 5 months, following our node, token sales or funding.

Position Title: Blockchain-Experienced Controller

Launch Legends is seeking a Blockchain-Experienced Controller to manage and enhance our financial operations while contributing to key aspects of our Web3 and blockchain initiatives. As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will bring expertise in traditional controller functions and leverage your blockchain and cryptocurrency knowledge to support Autheo’s Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem and the GO WFO platform.

With milestones such as the Developer Testnet launched on November 11, the Incentivized Testnet and Airdrop scheduled for late November and December, and the Public Token Sale and Mainnet launch in January, this role is critical to ensuring the financial health and compliance of our growing ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in financial management, accounting, and compliance, coupled with significant experience in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency transactions, and tokenomics.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight and Controller Functions

1. Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting.
2. Accounting Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with local and international accounting standards, including cryptocurrency-related accounting practices.
3. Audit and Risk Management: Coordinate audits and implement robust risk management protocols to ensure financial integrity and security.
4. Treasury Management: Manage company treasury, including crypto wallets, stablecoin holdings, and fiat accounts, ensuring proper allocation and reporting.
5. Expense and Revenue Tracking: Develop processes for tracking expenses and revenue streams, including token-related activities and validator incentives.

Blockchain-Specific Financial Contributions
6. Tokenomics Integration: Collaborate with the ecosystem and technical teams to align financial processes with Autheo’s tokenomics and staking models.
7. Cryptocurrency Transactions: Manage and report crypto-related transactions, including token sales, airdrop distribution, validator rewards, and exchange listings.
8. Smart Contract Financial Oversight: Ensure financial implications of smart contract deployments are accurately recorded and reported.
9. Blockchain Compliance: Stay updated on evolving blockchain and crypto regulations to ensure adherence to tax and legal standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
10. Ecosystem Collaboration: Work with the ecosystem and marketing teams to align financial strategies with milestones like the node sale, public token sale, and infrastructure partnerships.
11. Investor Relations Support: Provide financial data and insights for investor presentations, token sale reporting, and fundraising efforts.
12. Launchpad and Exchange Coordination: Support financial reporting and compliance requirements for launchpad partnerships and token listings on exchanges.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting
13. Data-Driven Insights: Develop dashboards to track and report financial performance, including crypto holdings, validator rewards, and token distribution metrics.
14. Performance Optimization: Use financial insights to recommend cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements across the ecosystem.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification with proven experience as a Controller.
• Significant experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Web3 ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of tokenomics, staking mechanisms, and validator rewards.
• Proficiency in managing crypto wallets, transactions, and blockchain-based financial systems.
• Experience with financial compliance in the blockchain industry, including tax reporting for crypto assets.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and financial tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, or crypto-specific accounting platforms).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Layer-1 Cosmos SDK-based blockchains or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi).
• Knowledge of launchpad processes and crypto exchange listing requirements.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
