Reports to the Tax Manager

Our Client, a leading accounting firm, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Tax Supervisor to join our team. As a Tax Supervisor, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the tax department. You will collaborate with clients, provide expert tax advice, and ensure compliance with all tax regulations. Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
Review and analyze tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert tax advice and guidance.
Research and interpret tax laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with any changes.
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
Identify tax planning opportunities for clients to minimize tax liabilities.
Assist in resolving tax-related issues and disputes
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Train and mentor junior tax professionals, fostering their professional growth


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and team members
Experience with tax software and MS Office suite
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
