Position Summary
The Finishing / Deburr Technician is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from CNC-machined parts. This role ensures parts meet quality standards, are safe to handle, and are ready for inspection or shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Deburr and finish machined parts using hand tools, air tools, and abrasive equipment
Perform edge breaking, sanding, polishing, and surface blending
Inspect parts for burrs, scratches, and other defects
Use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part quality
Follow blueprints, work instructions, and customer specifications
Clean and properly handle parts to prevent damage
Identify and report non-conforming parts
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of manufacturing or machining experience preferred
Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring equipment
Basic understanding of prints or willingness to learn

Work Environment
Manufacturing shop environment with noise and machinery
Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
