Position: Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Management Representative for ISO/AS certifications, ensuring compliance and driving system improvements.
Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the activities of quality engineers and inspection staff across both facilities.
Develop and implement quality policies, work instructions (WIs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Train employees on the Quality Management System, inspection tools, procedures, and standards.
Plan and maintain effective work schedules, monitor performance, and foster continuous improvement.
Track and analyze key metrics including PPM, COPQ, and quality KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
Lead and resolve customer quality complaints, coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Act as liaison with suppliers and foundries, issuing Corrective Action Requests (CARs) as needed.
Oversee Material Review Board (MRB) activities and manage disposition of non-conforming parts.
Facilitate and ensure timely submission of PPAPs, First Article Reports, and ISIRs.
Conduct and oversee internal audits, gage R&R studies, and gage calibration processes.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality Management, preferably in manufacturing.
Proven experience with ISO/AS Quality Management Systems.
Strong communication skills—verbal and written—with the ability to communicate across all levels.
Competent in blueprint reading, GD&T, and interpreting CMM reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Hands-on experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
Comfortable making data-driven decisions under pressure.
Experience in machine shop environments is highly valued.
Prior leadership in a quality or manufacturing setting is strongly preferred.

Advanced blueprint and geometric dimensioning interpretation
Industrial mathematics competency
Familiarity with machining and manufacturing operations
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor work in a production and office setting
May be exposed to varying noise levels; PPE required.
