CNC Machine Operator — Entry Level

Job Summary:
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to work instructions, blueprints, and established quality standards. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
  • Follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions.
  • Inspect parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Monitor machines during production and report issues to a supervisor.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance as trained.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Meet production and quality requirements.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or CNC experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to read basic measurements and follow written instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.

Training:
No prior CNC experience is necessarily required. The successful candidate will receive training on machine operation, quality inspection, tooling, safety procedures, and production processes.
