CMM Programmer – Help Shape Quality in a Fast-Growing Company

What You’ll Do

  • Program & operate CMMs to inspect components and assemblies using CAD models and customer drawings

  • Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections, delivering reliable and clear reports

  • Create ballooned inspection drawings to support dimensional verification

  • Perform fixture and gauge layout inspections, ensuring all tools meet functional and dimensional standards

  • Generate detailed layout reports and communicate findings with product and quality engineers

  • Support PPAP submissions by providing accurate measurement data

  • Collaborate on problem-solving initiatives, helping identify root causes and improve processes

  • Stay adaptable—pitch in on other duties as needed in a growing department

What You Bring (Ideally)

  • Experience with CMM programming and operation, preferably using software like PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar

  • Proficiency with measurement tools and inspection devices (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of CAD and technical drawings, including GD&T

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

  • Willingness to participate in APQP processes, particularly around gauge and fixture design

  • Experience reviewing and performing incoming inspections per established quality logs

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • A collaborative attitude and the ability to work well with engineers, quality teams, and production staff
