What You'll Do: Design and develop sophisticated electrical systems and control panels for sustainable technology applications, combining European electrical engineering standards with advanced EPLAN design capabilities to create solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You'll create comprehensive electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control system designs for renewable energy installations, sustainable manufacturing equipment, and environmental monitoring systems using EPLAN Electric P8 and the related EPLAN software suite. Your responsibilities include developing detailed electrical drawings and documentation that comply with European standards (IEC, EN, VDE), designing control panels and electrical enclosures with proper component selection and layout optimization, and creating automated electrical design workflows using EPLAN's advanced features and macros. You'll also design electrical systems for solar inverters, wind turbine control systems, and energy storage management, develop PLC programming and HMI interfaces for sustainable technology control systems, and create electrical safety systems and protection schemes that exceed European safety standards. Additionally, you'll generate comprehensive parts lists, cable schedules, and installation documentation directly from EPLAN projects, collaborate with international teams to implement electrical solutions across different European regulatory frameworks, and contribute to the development of standardized electrical design templates and libraries for sustainable technology applications.
