Position Overview
Join the Ex Venture Academy team at Lemnamat to develop advanced computer vision systems for monitoring duckweed growth, health, and quality in real-time. This elite internship offers hands-on experience creating AI-powered visual monitoring solutions that optimize cultivation conditions and automate quality assessment.
AI Focus Areas
Through Ex Venture Academy's structured learning approach, you will:
- Develop computer vision algorithms for plant growth monitoring and analysis
- Implement machine learning models for automated plant health assessment
- Create image processing pipelines for biomass quantification and quality evaluation
- Design real-time monitoring systems that integrate with automated cultivation controls
- Build predictive models for growth rate optimization and harvest timing
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing computer vision algorithms for duckweed monitoring
- Help implement image processing pipelines for growth and health assessment
- Support the integration of vision systems with the cultivation platform
- Collect and prepare image datasets for machine learning model training
- Contribute to the development of automated quality control systems
- Participate in Ex Venture Academy's AI skill development workshops
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI, Computer Vision, or a related field
- Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of ./. or equivalent
- Experience with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques
- Programming skills in Python and relevant AI frameworks
- Understanding of image processing fundamentals
- Interest in agricultural applications of AI technology
