Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Networking and Data Center Operations Trainee to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex data center networks to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and deployment of data center network architecture, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Learn to install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and applications in the data center environment.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network topology, IP addressing, and network diagrams.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network integration and functionality, including server teams, application teams, and security teams.
• Monitor network performance under the guidance of senior staff and provide proactive analysis and reporting to identify potential issues before they impact business operations.
• Learn to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including network outages and connectivity problems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data center networking.
• OS installations Windows and Linux System, RAID Setups.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of networking technologies, including routing and switching protocols, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
• Understanding of network security concepts and best practices, including access control, threat management, and vulnerability assessment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
