Well established Manufacturing Co in Stockton, CA has a need for a Plant Manager. This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package and relocation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest level of quality, efficiency, and safety. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of food production processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize plant productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Manage and supervise a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demands
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve production issues
  • Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement of raw materials
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or a similar role in the food production industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing plant operations
  • Strong knowledge of food production processes, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using computer software and systems for production planning and data analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
