Job Summary: Our company is seeking a motivated Junior IT Helpdesk Support to provide technical assistance and support to our clients in a professional and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling incoming support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and escalating complex problems to senior IT staff.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers

• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff for resolution

• Set up new user accounts, configure network and email accounts, and install software and hardware for users

• Document and track all support activities in the ticketing system

• Assist in the development and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base articles

• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned by senior IT staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

• 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in an IT helpdesk environment

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking principles

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to hardware and software

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, as needed

• Professional and courteous demeanor with a strong customer service focus
