MERCHANDISER – DEVELOPMENT- APPAREL (JK SEEDUWA)

 

Key Responsibilities

 

· Complete execution of product development process including handing over customer tech-packs to development team, processing sample requests and obtaining customer sample approvals. .

· Complete execution of bulk production process including raising bulk supplier POs, creating/sharing factory order sheets, conducting PP meetings and follow up on bulk production.

· Coordinate with fabric and trim suppliers to ensure all the RM are in house on time for sampling and bulk production.

· Negotiate with customer for any production and delivery related concerns.

· Follow up, monitor weekly shipments and deliveries, and strictly adhere to customer agreed timelines.

· Develop & maintain customers relationship, acting proactively in identifying customer specific requirements and executing them in an effective  manner in order to provide a outstanding service to the customers.

· Develop and maintain supplier base to achieve raw material cost reductions, improvements and new developments in product techniques and fabrications. 

 

Ideal candidate should possess,

 

· Degree / Diploma or an educational qualification in apparel merchandising.

· Minimum 2 years professional experience in apparel merchandising.

· Sound knowledge on fabric is added advantage

· Basic knowledge in trims, embellishments and costings.

· Candidates with previous exposure to sportswear and activewear will be an added benefit.

· Ability to be self-motivated, able to work with tight deadlines and work independently.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Age below 35 years.
