Job Title: Technical Content Writer
Location: Remote
Insignia Consultancy Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Content Writer to join our team. This role involves drafting clear and concise technical documentation for our diverse range of projects.
Position Overview
As a Technical Content Writer at Insignia Consultancy Solutions, you will be integral to our team. Collaborating closely with our backend and microservices teams, you'll transform complex technical details into clear, comprehensible documentation. We seek candidates with a strong technological background, excellent writing skills, and the ability to create high-quality documentation, including how-to guides and technical product documentation.
Responsibilities
· Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
· Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success
· Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
· Create, develop, and edit operational, instructional, and maintenance procedures for various publications.
· Research and translate technical information into manuals and web-based documents for both technical and non-technical users.
· Participate in product development teams to ensure future product usability and effective documentation.
· Document engineering processes and specifications.
· Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance.
· Initiate innovative technical writing design and development concepts.
· Act as a technical or business consultant to group and business-level managers.
· Lead the development of high-impact and/or long-range strategic projects and initiatives.
· Gather information from subject-matter experts to develop, organize, and create procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
Job Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in any of the one English, Communication, Journalism, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Writing, Teaching, Curriculum Development, or Scientific Publication.
· Two or more years of proven experience as an effective technical content writer.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in writing and developing user documentation, preferably product documentation.
· Working knowledge of help authoring tools such as Frame Maker, Robo Help, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Visio.
· Ability to analyze, interpret, and present technical information clearly and concisely.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have Skills:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communications, or a relevant technical field.
Additional Technical Knowledge:
· Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC).
Certifications:
Professional certification (if any).
Tools Proficiency:
· Experience using XML tools for documentation.
Language Skills:
· Fluency in English or the desired language.
Analytical and Critical Thinking:
· Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills.
Time Management and Organization:
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
Technical Proficiency:
· Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
