Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of language, an eye for detail, and a proven ability to refine content to meet our high standards. The role involves working on a variety of content types, from AI-generated drafts to original writing, ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proofread and edited content to ensure grammatical accuracy, coherence, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Refine and enhance AI-generated content for improved readability and engagement.
- Create and rewrite listicles, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and well-structured.
- Translate content as needed, ensuring cultural and contextual appropriateness.
- Refresh outdated content to maintain relevance and accuracy.
- Develop and edit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and help center documentation.
- Craft compelling social media content tailored to various platforms.
- Write and edit blog posts to attract and engage target audiences.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and strategists to align content with company goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in content editing, writing, or a related role.
- Exceptional proofreading and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in working with AI-generated content and tools.
- Strong understanding of content optimization for digital platforms.
- Proficiency in creating engaging listicles and rewriting content effectively.
- Multilingual proficiency and translation experience are a plus.
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO principles.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
