Job Brief:
For our Characters, Creatures, NPC’s and Animals, you become the connective pipeline from our 3D Modelers, to check their production and confirm or correct 3D structures before models are UV Mapped for textures. Once you have approved the 3D model, you will rig and skin the model to the animator’s specifications.
Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Refine and manage production workflows
Confirming 3D models are built correctly
Rig 3D Models for animation
Skin 3D Models for animation
Create Rig scripts in Maya and/or Motion Builder as required
Develop a flexible character production pipeline within the team
Create high-performance, animation-friendly character and creature rigs
Provide feedback and develop standards for character production
Work closely with 3D artists and animators

Skills Required:
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
Good knowledge of rig scripting
Experience with Unreal Engine 4
Experience in game development
2+ Years of experience in rigging and general 3D art production
Essential knowledge of animation and other 3D art processes
Excellent knowledge of anatomy and topology for 3D characters
Excellent knowledge of Maya; experience working with MotionBuilder
Solid knowledge of how to develop a character production pipeline, along with rigging and animation workflows
Experience being part of a creative team
Strong analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
