Job Brief:
Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Sorts, posts, and files inventory records and production schedules. Estimates and records production rates, prepares shop orders and reviews stock records to determine stock status against project requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manages and directs flow of orders through production and QA to maximize utilization of resources, minimize delays and meet required delivery dates.
•Reviews schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules.
•Attends planning meetings to relay information on delivery of shortages and status of work orders.
•Establishes priorities for specific customer orders and internal manufacturing support orders.
•Provides input to management, reschedules, and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production, and engineering managers to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
•Acts as primary point of contact for manufacturing schedule commitments.
•Monitors status of delivery of shortage items.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
•High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree in related field preferred.
•5+ years of experience in a production control or manufacturing role in a manual assembly environment.
•MRP knowledge and experience required.
•Knowledge of probe cards, PCBs and/or semiconductor test equipment preferred.
•Must be detail-oriented and have superior organizational skills
•Strong communication (verbal and written English), organization, and time management skills required.
•Must be hands-on, meticulous and detailed, and possess good business acumen.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
