Operations Specialist (Medical Healthcare) The Operations Specialist position is a key role in managing the day-to-day operational activities for our medical healthcare facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in operations in a medical setting and possess strong organizational and customer service skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Monitor staff performance and ensure that operational protocols, policies and procedures are adhered to
• Monitor staff productivity, training performance and efficiency to maintain quality standards • Resolve operational issues and suggest ideas for improvement
• Ensure that office systems and procedures are well organized and administered efficiently
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments
• Respond to customer inquiries and escalate any complex problems
• Coordinate, plan, and manage special projects on an ongoing basis
• Documents and provides regular reports on operational performance
• Develop plans for process improvement, optimization, and automation
• Remain informed of trends in the healthcare industry and evaluate any implications
• Identify and implement best practices for operational activities
• Track operations expenses and prepare detailed operational budget reports
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’ s degree in a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations in a medical setting
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, train, and motivate personnel in a results-oriented environment
• Solid track record of troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task efficiently
• Detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and quality of work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of sequence and timing in the organization of daily operations
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
