πYour mission: Reporting to the International Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for executing and controlling payroll production in collaboration with the HR team and department heads. You will be a key player in the A3 implementation project that aims to internalise payroll production from January 2025. In addition, as Hightekers is an international group, we will also train you to collaborate in the production of payrolls in other countries such as the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
For Hightekers Spain:

You will be the subject matter expert during the A3 implementation project during Q3 and Q4 in order to produce the Spanish payrolls from January 2025.

You will produce the payrolls for Spain in collaboration with the teams providing the monthly variables.

You will be in charge of dealing with our employees sick-leave, maternity and other status in regards to Social security registrations.
For other countries such as Hightekers UK:

You will be trained internally in payroll production for countries such as the UK and progressively other countries depending on capacity and growth.

You will collaborate for the project to change the current UK Payroll software to another one during Q3 and Q4.

You will produce the payrolls for these countries in collaboration with the teams that provide the monthly variables.
Global tasks that apply to both Spain and UK:

You will generate specific reports for Finance and specific departments.

You will control and execute the declarations according to the tax calendar of the country of reference.

You will have to be continuously trained in relation to the latest legal developments that impact your day-to-day work.

You will produce simulations that allow our teams to calculate the hiring of new personnel.

You will produce all the necessary forms and certificates throughout the year such as the Annual Certificate of Accruals.

You will create the internal user manuals and you will be the main Expert for each country Payroll software (A3 in Spain) collaborating in internal training when needed.

You will ensure that you execute, monitor and control all obligations in relation to social security payments and payroll related taxes.

You will deal with absences, illnesses and other incidents through the protocols established by the regulations.

You will collaborate with the sales team when necessary to explain how the world of payroll works in each country of reference.

You will help to set-up and improve Pension schemes, Social benefits, Flexible salary plans, among others.
Profile:
-
Native Spanish speaker with a very high level of English.
-
A degree in Labour Relations in Spain or a related field is required.

Holding a Diploma in Payroll (Diploma de nóminas) is a must.

At least 5 years of experience in Spanish Payroll production by using A3 Payroll software is a must.

You are an expert or an Advance user of A3 payroll software

You really know how the Spanish Social security system and the Tax structure works in Spain and consider your-self a subject matter expert

Thorough understanding of Spanish payroll regulations and compliance requirements is crucial.

Familiarity and experience controlling or producing UK payroll would be advantageous

Strong attention to detail and accuracy are imperative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
