We are currently looking for an HR Intern for our UK and Spanish hubs who will join the team in Barcelona. In this position, you will play a crucial role in assisting with developing and implementing HR policies that align with the company's strategic vision. Reporting to the UK & Spain’s HRBP, you will collaborate with our team internationally at the Barcelona office. The Group operates in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England, and Poland, with a total workforce of 2000.

 

As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Manage HR administrative tasks such as exits, leaves, promotions, salary increases, and disciplinary issues. Maintain employee records in HRIS systems, including holidays and absences.

  2. Assist in implementing and defining HR practices and regulations.

  3. Support managers in applying HR policies and assisting in team development activities such as onboarding, retention, learning & development, and career development.

  4. Support in benefits management of various countries, such as healthcare, pension, lunch card vouchers etc. 

  5. Assist in managing and resolving employee relations issues, ensuring policies are applied fairly and consistently.

  6. Assist in managing visa requests in various locations.

  7. Support in payroll variables reports if necessary. 

  8. Manage (Strategic) HR Projects with guidance of the HRBP, such as creating the employee handbook & policies, code of conduct, compensation & benefits, training, talent performance management and career development.

This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of HR, contributing to your professional development in the field.

 

What you bring to the role and the team:

Required

  1. Fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken

  2. Bachelor’s degree in ADE or Human Resources

  3. Previous experience in administrative roles.

  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  5. Proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation

 

Valued

  1. Fluency in any other European language such as French or Dutch

  2. Master’s degree

  3. Knowledge of Spanish employment law would be a great advantage but not necessary 

  4. Previous HR internship experience would be an advantage.
