Founded to empower IT and engineering freelancers, Hightekers handles all administrative management, allowing freelancers to focus on what they do best. Our innovative digital platform ensures freelancers can manage documents and information effortlessly while connecting with a global network of like-minded professionals. 

We are looking for a Business Developer to join the team in Barcelona who will play a key role in expanding the B2B business vertical across the Italian market while building solid relationships with new and existing clients. 

 

In this position, you will work with Pedro Miquel and Alain Mlanao, among other team members.  

 

Your Responsibilities in this role:

  1. Selling and advising on our innovative services to IT companies and IT recruitment agencies.

  2. Supporting the development of sales strategies to drive new customer acquisition.

  3. Developing a portfolio of prospects through different sources and following up.

  4. Managing the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to finalising and closing the deal.

  5. Analyzing and understanding the client's needs and proposing appropriate solutions.

  6. Negotiating contracts with clients.

  7. Building and managing portfolios of clients across the appointed regions.

  8. Liaising and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of services provided.

  9. Participating in online and offline events.

  10. Ensuring the quality of clients' and consultants' experiences and the outreach of Hightekers in the B2B market.

 

What you bring to the role and the team:

Required:

  1. Must be fluent in written and spoken Italian and English

  2. Previous experience in B2B Sales and Business Development.

  3. Experience in a related industry (umbrella, EOR, or recruitment agency).

  4. Proficient in using CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

  5. Effective communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  6. Strong can-do attitude and a sales-driven approach with good time management skills.

  7. Strong problem-solving skills.

  8. Proficient in conflict management and resolution.

  9. Strong negotiation skills and ability to work well in a team.

 

Valuable:

  1. Fluency in another European language, mainly Spanish or French

  2. Previous leadership experience or a strong desire to advance into a management position.
