Heritage Landscape Services, Inc. is a growing, family-owned business, founded in 1986, that offers full-service landscape solutions to commercial clients throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all job-related tasks in compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools, such as, weed eaters and push mowers.

• Perform assigned landscape maintenance tasks, such as, mowing, edging, and pruning.

• Work to ensure quality and timely completion of all tasks assigned.

• Participate in training programs.

• Perform other duties as required.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in mowing, pruning and landscape basics, preferred.

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Environmental Considerations:

• Work outside in various weather conditions that may be hot, cold, wet or turbulent.

• Work in environments with unusually loud noise levels, requiring hearing protection.

• May be exposed to nature, i.e. irritating plants and biting or stinging insects.

• Must be able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies (including holidays, weekends, etc).

Physical Requirements:

• Must understand and abide by all OSHA regulations.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to wear PPE as required.

• Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day.

• Must be able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods.

• Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard 10-hour day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $14.00 per hour

Typical work week: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am to 5pm
