Position Summary
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for executing daily plant care and cultivation operations to ensure healthy, high-quality cannabis production. This role supports all phases of the plant life cycle including propagation, vegetative growth, flowering, harvesting, and sanitation while maintaining compliance with state regulations and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Compensation: $20-$23/hr, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Plant Care & Cultivation
Perform transplanting, pruning, trellising, defoliation, and canopy management.
Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
Assist with irrigation, fertigation, and nutrient preparation.
Support IPM protocols and document findings.
Harvest & Post-Harvest
Assist in harvesting, weighing, and tracking biomass.
Perform trimming, bucking, and preparation for drying/curing.
Follow contamination prevention and hygiene standards.
Facility Operations
Clean and sanitize grow rooms, tools, and equipment.
Clean fertigation tanks and drain daily during mornings.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all state cannabis regulations and company SOPs.
Maintain confidentiality and chain of custody.
Adhere to workplace safety and PPE requirements.
Must be able to obtain required state cannabis ID at time of hire and submit personal information for background check and fingerprinting.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Willingness to learn and follow procedures.
Preferred
Previous cannabis cultivation or agricultural experience.
Knowledge of plant nutrition, IPM, or hydroponic/soil systems.
Experience with METRC (or similar tracking systems), inventory software (preferred), Excel, and Google spreadsheets.
A reference letter or contact information is encouraged but not required.

Physical Requirements
Standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout shifts
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in warm, humid environments.
Exposure to plant material and grow lighting.
Use of hand tools and PPE
