We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of pit bulls. We are searching for a responsible and reliable Dog Sitter to care for our dogs in our rescue facility.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for daily care for the dogs: feeding, providing water, exercising, observing their behavior and administering medications as needed. Other duties include cleaning kennels, keeping a record of the dogs' daily activities, and providing emotional support. More importantly, you will possess the ability to develop positive relationships with the dogs and show patience and understanding.

 

Ideal candidates will have prior experience caring for dogs; a genuine love for animals; and an understanding of the behavioral and social issues that are specific to pit bulls. You must also be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary.

Qualifications:

Must have a genuine love for dogs and be comfortable handling them.

Previous experience in dog care, volunteering at shelters, or pet sitting is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
