Events & Activations Account Manager
Location: Hybrid – 3 days remote, 2 days in-office
Reports to: Sales Manager

Your Mission

To drive repeat business and revenue through outstanding event activations. You’ll manage end-to-end client relationships for experiential campaigns—from ideation to post-event analysis—delivering consistent, polished results that clients return for.

Outcomes (12-Month Scorecard)

  • Close R15–R32 million in campaign revenue from new and existing clients
  • Deliver 20+ successful events, each meeting timing, budget, and quality KPIs
  • Maintain 90%+ client satisfaction and retention from event clients
  • Build and manage a portfolio of 4+ high-value, active event clients
  • Develop and manage repeatable event templates and processes that reduce lead time and costs

Key Responsibilities

  • Pitch, plan, and manage national and regional event activations

  • Oversee all logistics: venue, permits, staffing, production, and live execution

  • Own the client relationship: brief, proposal, execution, and post-event reporting

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver high-quality events under pressure

  • Ensure delivery on brand objectives, footfall targets, and visual excellence

  • Manage budgets, supplier negotiations, and margin control

  • Lead or contribute to the centre court and retail eventing strategy

  • Stay plugged into eventing trends, tech, and tools that enhance brand impact

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years’ experience in events, activations, brand experience or shopper marketing

  • A proven track record of hitting sales/revenue targets in a client-facing role

  • Experience in end-to-end event production, including supplier and logistics management

  • Strong project management and multitasking skills

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building ability

  • Bonus: Background in centre court activations, mall campaigns, or beauty brands
