Bartender Job Description 

Golf VX is a leader in golf technology and is now expanding into the entertainment and hospitality field. We are seeking talented individuals to join our team at our flagship Simulator location and grow with our company. We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to help launch our first location. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring our customers have a memorable experience. 

· Prepare and serve high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards 
· Must have bartending experience 
· Must be at least 21 years old 
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, bar, and guest area 
· Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment 
· Elevate staff morale and demonstrate professional conduct 
· Assist the General Manager in training new bar staff and provide guidance in daily operations 
· Provide ongoing feedback to bar staff to ensure consistent service quality 
· Proactively manage bar operations during scheduled shifts, including decision-making, staff support, customer interaction, and maintaining product quality and cleanliness 
· Perform opening and closing duties, including pre-shift meetings, inventory checks, end-of-day reports, and noting important trends or issues in the daily log 
· Frequently engage with customers to ensure top-notch service and promptly address any complaints or issues 
· Ensure beverage quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation 
· Provide efficient, friendly service to guests, adhering to all steps of service and maintaining a clean bar area to enhance the guest experience 
· Accurately record and account for all items ordered, process payments, and balance all sales/receipts in compliance with property policies and procedures 
· Safely and effectively transport beverages to guests in a timely manner 
· Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations by anticipating guests’ needs 
· Be able to assume responsibilities of other roles at the facility as needed 

Requirements: 
· 2+ years of bartending or hospitality industry experience 
· Able to frequently move and/or lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 lbs 
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 
· Available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, especially weekends 
· Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including POS systems, Gift Card and Credit Card terminals 
· Safely and effectively use and operate bar tools and equipment, including blenders, shakers, and knives 
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
· Proficient in basic computer skills, office applications, and email 
· General knowledge of the game of golf and willingness to learn about golf simulators 
· Adhere to all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook 
· Work well with others and be a team player 

Preferences: 
· Bassett certification and food handler’s certification within 30 days of hire 
· Some prior shift lead or supervisory experience 
· Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, late nights, and holidays
