Position Summary

Golf VX is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead the company’s day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role is central to maintaining a strong accounting foundation while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with leadership skills to build efficient systems and provide financial clarity that supports a growing, multi-state business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards.

  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready accounting records at all times.

  • Ensure compliance with tax, financial, and regulatory requirements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts.

  • Monitor actual vs. budget performance and prepare variance analyses for management.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.

Cash Flow & Transaction Management

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

  • Monitor cash flow and assist in managing working capital needs.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Recommend and implement improvements in accounting systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Drive efficiency in the finance function to better support business operations.

Team & Collaboration

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff (if applicable).

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial processes align with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and audit processes.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.

  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.

  • Korean language proficiency (listening, speaking, and writing) required.
