As our team expands, we are seeking a customer-focused individual with a passion for IT to join us as a Service Desk Technician. In this role, you'll be the initial point of contact for our clients, providing them with professional and reliable technical support through our Tier 1 Service Desk.

What will you do?

  • Deliver efficient and effective customer service to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Handle incoming issues through our ITSM software, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Provide first-line diagnosis and resolution, aiming for high first-time fixes.
  • Escalate complex problems to Tier 2 Service Desk Technicians when necessary.
  • Prioritise and manage your workload to meet client SLAs.
  • Coordinate with third parties for software installation, configuration, and rollout.
  • Assist in setting up and deploying new users, hardware, and software.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of supported networks and devices.

To excel in this role, you'll need strong customer service skills, organization, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. While prior experience in a Managed Service provider environment would be advantageous, it's not mandatory, as full training will be provided.

Location:                  Eynsham (office-based, hybrid after probation)

Working Hours:       Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm

Salary:                     £23,895 - £30,679 dependant on experience
