Position Summary:

First Responder Protective Services is looking to add additional Security Agents to our growing team. To be eligible, you must currently have a valid Level III TX Security Guard License, have the Personal Protection Officer endorsement ("Level IV"), up to date on firearm qualification, and have been licensed for at lease 1 or more years.

Current openings for security agents allow for a flexible schedule, with the opportunity to become full-time in the future. This position consists of high level security work, with a mixture of uniformed and plain clothes assignments. Uniformed assignments are not traditional full dress out. For the security agent position, if response is needed in a uniformed capacity, the uniform is BDU pants and a 5.11 polo, with a firearm and OC spray. Uniform shirt, uniform pants and OC spray are all issued items. Security agents must furnish their own firearm and ensure it is on the approved manufacturer list with the FRPS firearms coordinator. For any uniformed assignments, security agents must also have at minimum, a level 2 retention holster. Plain clothes assignments range from casual, business casual to business professional, depending on the specifics of the operation being planned.

FRPS is looking to add security professionals ranging from relatively new to this career field (at least one year of experience req'd) to seasoned professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MUST Currently possess Level III Texas Commissioned Security Guard License
• MUST Currently have the Personal Protection Officer endorsement.
• MUST Currently have a firearms qualification
• MUST Currently possess a valid TX Driver's License, or be able to obtain one prior to hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience since obtaining PPO designation
• Favorable driving history with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Ability to sit, stand or drive for long hours.
