Job Brief:
You must be multi-task-oriented and works well with production deadlines. Assisting the Operation Manager in realizing the company's business objectives by promoting efficiency and Figurama quality standards.
You will be the main point of contact in China, liaising between Figurama International Offices & China, requiring continuous & excellent communication, and need to meet deadlines.
You will also be coordinating with the Ops /OC officer in Jordan for aligning QC schedules to be on par with the agreed production pipeline & shipping time frame
Responsibilities:
Operations:
· Oversees the daily activities of the assigned functional area; prioritizing; completing multiple activities; resolves problems as they arise.
· Implementing Operational SOPs & quality standards.
· Proactively identify and recommend new/proposed policies and procedures as they relate to operations issues/opportunities; assist in the implementation of new processes and procedures.
· Applies in-depth knowledge of systems, functions, and procedures to identify and resolve quality issues to ensure overall product quality.
Production Pipeline: (Factory + QC)
· Actively tracks QC team productivity to ensure output is at required levels and Service Level Agreements are met.
· Hold the Factory accountable to their agreed schedule, manpower, and pricing; conduct necessary audits and push back or negotiate when needed.
· The ability to deliver work of a high standard while retaining accuracy when working with tight deadlines.
· Supervise the production pipeline and ensure it is alignment with agreed timelines from the factory, QC, and Pre-order campaign calendars.
· Provide the Ops Manager with production progress reports in a daily manner.
· Report any conflict and/or issue that might raise up at the production process to the Operation Manager.
QA/QC
· Ensure meeting the KPIs set for QC teams in China for both Figurama Collectors + OEM projects for Shikwasa
· Establish lines of communication, reporting, and targets for compliance within the team and the leadership.
· Supervise QC teams & monitor inspection reports Performance.
· Check & verify Inspection reports/QC checklists/Products Technical specs.
· Carry out the daily quality control function and define the inspection schedule.
New Products/Sourcing: (Shikwasa + Diocube etc)
· Conduct market research for new factories, sources, vendors, raw materials, and supplies related to new product launches in the industry.
· Source various miscellaneous products when necessary
Shipping & Logistics:
· Developing and implement effective tracking systems to monitor the progress of shipments in real-time.
· Provide shipping logs and inventory to the Operation Manager in coordination with the Ops Officer in Jordan.
· Select the best materials for every part of the statue, such as if the part is better to be in PVC and others is poly stone or abs etc.
· Create & conduct tests for quality control of products–Eg: Drop test of final packed statue.
· Assist the Figurama customer support team in case of any queries regarding customer statue damages & replacement.
Skills Required:
· University graduates in Industrial Engineering, project management & quality control, Business Administration
· Minimum 4 to 5 years in roles in logistics, manufacturing, and production
· Experienced in auditing production, operations & quality systems.
· Have good analytical skills and strong leadership skills.
· Good Understanding of Document Control.
· Ability to work well under pressure.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Team player and motivator.
· Advance Computer literacy & administrative experience.
· Highly motivated, detail, accurate, able to work hard, possess initiative, trustworthy & loyal.
· Strong interpreter (Oral& writing skills) Chinese vis versa English
