The ideal candidate will be familiar with the basics of database management and will be responsible for managing data ETL (Extract Transform Loading) of data on Client servers. The candidate should have a sound understanding of databases with the ability to move and backup databases. Mainly Microsoft SQL server administration but overall understanding of any databases would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical Degree in Information Technology
• 2+ years of experience working with data and databases
• DBA (Database Administator)

• Write SSIS packages to import data from client files into SQL databases
• Write SSRS reports to facilitate client reporting
• Management of SQL Server and Databases
• Data Optimization
• Good understanding of concepts such as normalization, indexing and clustering.
• Good experience in optimizing SQL queries to enhance performance
• Writing stored procedures
• Experience in use of SQL Server Management Studio
