Job Brief:
Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Safety Management Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining process safety management programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize risk in our client's operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical or process engineering and a deep understanding of process safety management principles.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain process safety management programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHA) and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Review process design and operation to identify and manage process safety risks.
• Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver process safety training for employees and contractors.
• Ensure that process safety information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure process safety considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process safety management in a chemical or process manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process safety management principles and regulations (e.g., OSHA 1910.119, EPA RMP, etc.).
• Experience conducting process hazard analyses (PHA), mechanical integrity, and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
