Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Reports Directly to the Senior Sales Director

Job Description:

The North American Energy Marketplace is an ever-evolving entity and the same will be true for the Sales Development Representative (SDR) that we look to move forward with and hire. Each SDR will be expected to work with potential customers to identify their respected needs and pre-qualify them to ensure that product demonstrations and subsequent meetings run smoothly. Our SDRs will play a critical role throughout the entire sales process and act as a vital support mechanism for prospects as well as our customers.

  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.

  • Maintains communication tools by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.

  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Meets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Quarterly Performance Targets


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

  • Experience in the energy and financial services industry preferred

  • Experience in building and delivering new, technology-based information products into the market

  • 1-2 years of sales experience in: SaaS, Information/Research subscriptions, financial products.
