Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Renewable Energy Projects to lead the execution of solar and wind projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in project management, procurement, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution and commissioning of utility-scale solar and wind projects across multiple locations.

• Manage project operations on a daily basis, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety protocols.

• Assist in developing procurement strategies and manage supply chain processes—from vendor selection and negotiation to delivery coordination.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, permits, and statutory requirements at both central and state levels.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, technology providers, consultants, and government agencies.

• Support technical and commercial inputs for project feasibility and business development efforts.

• Lead on-ground engineering teams and coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure smooth execution.

• Prepare project reports, monitor risks, and update leadership on project progress.

• Proactively identify risks and support mitigation strategies to avoid delays or budget overruns.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in managing renewable energy projects, including procurement, execution, and O&M.

• Solid understanding of renewable energy systems, grid integration, and site operations.

• Familiarity with power trading, PPA structures, and renewable energy regulations is a plus.

• Strong leadership, coordination, and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, SAP).

• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
