We are looking for a High School English Teacher for a Bilingual school based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

Situated in the bustling metropolitan of Shanghai, China, this bilingual school resides in the Pudong district and is spread across a terrain of 35,000 m2. It comprises of a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school divisions. The school offers courses that are based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs with the English language being the medium of instruction.

Job details

• Teach the school’s English course to High School students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• More than two years related working experience
• Hold a teaching certificate
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Excellent English communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office

• Monthly Salary of 16,000 to 24,000 RMB before tax
