Where do you come in?
Earth Venture Capital is looking for an Investment Associate that will play a key role in sourcing, due diligence and managing investment opportunities throughout South East Asia, providing investment reports and reviews to our investment committee. Our team values an ambitious, breakthrough and committed person that can balance multiple priorities. This role will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and work closely with our team and partners in Singapore, Ireland and the U.S.

Skills And Requirements we need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, the management or related field; Master’s Degree from a recognized university can be a plus.
• Fluent in written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese;
• 2-5 years relevant working experience in venture capital, private equity, management consultancy, asset management, and entrepreneurship;
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills; comfortable presenting to and interacting with founders, entrepreneurs, C-level executives and investors;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify issues and present appropriate recommendations; decision-making skills to determine the best solution;
• Proven project management and organizational skills – ability to handle multiple priorities, strong leadership skills;
• Open-minded and eager to learn new things, flexible to changes and comfortable with ambiguity.

What will you be doing?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting industry research to evaluate the feasibility of market and competitor lạndscape;
• Sourcing, deal screening through combination of both inbound and outbound work, meeting with startups and conducting extensive due diligence on various aspects of the company;
• Preparing investment presentation and recommendations to the fund management team to support fund decision making process;
• Maintaining up-to-date information and performance on portfolio companies through monthly tracking and report;
• Identifying and implementing ways of increasing the efficiency of portfolio companies, supporting them in various key aspects, including product development,  talent recruitment, connecting partners and experts… to make sure portfolio companies hit predetermined milestones; 
• Take part in keeping our own investors informed by helping to prepare materials for quarterly updates and our annual investor meeting;
• Building and maintaining relationships with startups and other investors, support portfolio companies in the next fundraising process;
