Job Brief: As the Talent Acquisition HR Manager for the Hotel & Hospitality Industry, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding eligible staff and executives to join our dynamic team. In addition to traditional recruitment responsibilities, you will also play a key role in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships and employer tie-ups within the industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the Hotel & Hospitality industry, including but not limited to managerial, operational, and specialized roles.
2. Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms, to build a robust candidate pipeline.
3. Conduct thorough screening processes, including resume reviews, phone screenings, and interviews, to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
4. Coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
5. Collaborate with department heads and senior management to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans to meet those needs.
6. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial candidate contact to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including educational institutions, industry organizations, and recruitment agencies, to enhance our employer brand and attract top talent.
8. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies and stay ahead of the curve.
9. Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to management, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.
10. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures related to recruitment, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Skills Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
2. Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, preferably within the Hotel & Hospitality industry.
3. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, candidate assessment methods, and employment law compliance.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
5. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
7. Proficient in using HRIS, ATS, and other recruitment software/tools.
8. Flexibility to travel as needed for industry events, campus recruitment, and other networking opportunities.
