Dreams Around The World is a small but growing team based in Central and Eastern Europe, with plans of a sunny island HQ somewhere in Europe. 

Our company is based around my coaching and training where my mission is to help people become the best version of themselves while creating the most awesome life possible. I do this through a variety of tools including coaching personality, psychology, and actionable business training. Plus our amazing community of clients. We set a very high standard for everything we do and consistently deliver far beyond expectations and that of the competition.

We have a prosperous YouTube channel, podcast and growing social media accounts and I've been quoted or referenced in places like Inc, Forbes, and the New York Times. 

At the moment, we are a remote team. But as soon as things begin to normalize, including this summer, we will begin regular company retreats with the goal of working together in person between 3 and 12 months each year. 

 

In This Role You’re Ultimately Responsible For:

-Working with myself (Dan) to generate promotion ideas and then put them into action. 

-Ensuring consistent and effective email marketing campaigns that drive results. Ditto on our automated funnels.

-Answering client inquiries and handling one-on-one sales (primarily via email…but it’s a bonus if you’re happy to jump on the phone).

  

As a company, we focus on strengths and are happy to apply the 80/20 rule whenever possible. So for this role, ultimately your goal is to significantly increase our number of clients using the tools provided. Whether you focus on just one or two tools or all, I really don’t care, as long as you’re getting results.

Head of Promotions and Email Marketing

We’re looking for someone who loves the excitement and challenge of good promotion.

You probably also have an interest in marketing and psychology and consider yourself a decent writer to boot.

You’d like your talents to be valued and nurtured.

You’d like the freedom to spread your wings and see what you’re capable of…while having the support and mentorship you need to become truly great at what you do.

This role within our team is to significantly increase our client numbers.

Currently, we focus the majority of our time on delivering a great experience to our clients, as well as creating an abundance of free training via YouTube and Podcasts.

Our clients are happy and getting results…now, we’d like more of them.

This is a results oriented role for someone who prefers to focus on being excellent at a few things while still having enough variety, excitement, and room for growth.

 

Expected Level of Expertise in Core Areas

Everything you will be doing, I have experience. In some areas, I just know enough to get by while in others I may be world class.

When I commit time in this area, we grow. What I’m looking for is someone to consistently dedicate time and drive to these areas for exponential growth.

You should have enough expertise in the key areas of this role that you could take it on alone and generate significant results for our team. But you should also know, the role will include significant training, collaboration, and mentorship.

Though not 100% required, you likely have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of work experience, including running positions where you ran your own projects and owned your results.

You may be an excellent copywriter who loves interacting with people. To do your best work you need the excitement and energy of a promotion and a deadline.

Essential Skills and Attributes

Tech and Attention To Detail

Minimum Level: You’re going to be the final check on emails and marketing automations that impact thousands of people. You’re good enough with tech and don’t make mistakes when it’s important and the stakes are high.

 

Building Systems

Minimum Level: You have a good understanding of marketing automation and can put together an intermediate marketing funnel in your chosen software.

 

Analytics and Data

Minimum Level: You’re able to analyze data and see what’s working and what isn’t. You have a good intuition for what works and what doesn’t, but also look to the data to confirm things are on track.

 

 

Perks and Working Conditions

Work Like a Swede - This is a result driven role. If you know how you work best AND deliver results, that will work for us.

By default, if you don’t yet know how you work best, this role will average 25 hours per week.

We value cognitive energy and focus. This is not a part time role. This is a full time position…where you work at your best 25 hours per week.

Unless discussed and agreed to (it is possible), moonlighting and side hustles are not allowed after our initial probation period (3-6 months).  

Working hours are to be agreed to, set (can vary week to week if needed) and tracked. During working hours, no personal business, social media etc. is to occur. When you work you work.

 

Unlimited Paid Vacations - If you’re hitting your goals and everyone is happy you’ll enjoy unlimited vacation time.

 

Work and Live Where You Want – Whether you work best from home, or like me, prefer to spend your mornings in a café and split your afternoons between the sun and a co-working space, this position is for you.

While we are talking about creating a headquarters somewhere warm and wonderful, we will generally remain a remote team with the option of working from our future HQ 3-12 months per year.

 

Awesome Company Retreats and/or Adventures (Free Travel) – When the Wuhan virus finally bids us goodbye, or when we’re all able to snag a vaccine, we’ll start having company retreats once or twice per year.

Notes:

-Our positions include fair pay, fulfilling and satisfying work, amazing lifestyle perks, and room for nearly unlimited personal and professional growth. Long term (2+ years) team members are also eligible for quarterly profit sharing.

-As we are a remote team, this position is open to all qualified people in the Americas, Europe, Central Asia, and Africa. Due to time zones and the importance of sleep, it is not open to applicants living elsewhere.

-We are based in Central and Eastern Europe (with a possible future HQ on a Sunny European Island or in Portugal). We have some flexibility, but in general, our pay and working hours lean in this direction. If you’re living somewhere like Los Angeles or Vancouver and keen to stay there, this role isn’t for you.
