Job Summary

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven outside sales representative to generate leads and drive sales. The outside sales representative's responsibilities include submitting regular sales reports to management, informing potential and existing customers of product features and resolving customer complaints. You should also be able to create as well as present persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and repeat business.
The Outside Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.
They are responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary.
Their excellent social skills allow them to foster strong relationships, to which they can attribute much of their success.
Candidates must be ambassadors responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based on their assigned territory.
They must build trust, act as support for prospects whilst ensuring they lead to potential future sales.
To be successful in this position, you should be persuasive and have excellent negotiation skills. Ultimately, an exceptional outside sales representative should be able to demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

Full Description

This is an outside sales representative position responsible for promoting the company's internet products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts. Main focus is to help small businesses within a community expand their blueprint. This position requires working face to face to successfully meet customers' internet needs.
An Outside Sales Representative must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below regarding the sales process. The requirements listed are representative of the sales knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.

 

Role

Handle entire sales process
Develop new internet business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within an assigned territory.
Seek and qualify customer prospects following company account stratification goals.
Research customer internet needs and develops a mix of products and service to meet needs.
Evaluate market trends and recommend 5G products to customers, based on their needs and goals.
Be informed of market conditions, internet product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.
Answer customers' questions about 5G internet products, prices, availability, and product use.
Provide internet product information and acquisition process to customers.
Manage sign up and set up deliveries to the consumers.
Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as order summaries, customer files, and sales data.
Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally.
Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory.
Travel to different locations to meet new customers face-to-face.
Create and sustain relationships with both old and new customers.
Educate the customers about the products that the company offers.
Sale the companys products and services.
Survey the market for any new rivals.
Prepare a record of all customers and sales.

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field. (Preferred)

 

Experience

A minimum 3 years experience with business-to-business sales roles in Canadian or US markets with demonstrated success in achieving/exceeding sales targets;
3 years of direct sales or related experience preferred.

 

Requirements

Reside in the Greater Nashville, TN area
Must be able to travel.

 

Professional Skills

Proven sales track record in a performance-based role.

Previous territory sales experience; required.

Duties/Responsibilities

Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
Educate small businesses about our product while building value with decision makers.
Build and maintain relationships with owner/operators, serving as account manager.
Manage multiple accounts simultaneously and accurately work through your pipeline.
Organizing a territory of leads to provide maximum value.
Working 40 - 50 hours weekly.
Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Developing and implementing strategic territory sales plans;
Researching market organizations and contacts to identify new leads and opportunities, in addition to attending industry conferences and events.
Continuously prospecting and contacting potential customers.
