We are currently looking for experienced healthcare assistants for night or day shifts at our residential care homes in the Thanet District area.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll assist residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship as well as providing leadership to your team.
The role of a Senior Healthcare Assistant also comes with challenging responsibilities that will help you sharpen your skills, such as leading shifts and ensuring that all colleagues on shift are supported and guided, that all tasks for the day are allocated equally and fairly, that all care provided is tracked on a "record as you do" basis where every important aspect of the care provided is recorded in detail to satisfy the person centred-care expectation.
It’s a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. A day to day routine could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensure we meet that person centred-care expectation. Yet we can happily say that every day will be different as you have a chance to make every day in the life of the residents special. It’s a great opportunity to prove yourself and boast your skills as well as develop further in this rewarding career.
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and will have care experience (particularly in care homes).
Your schedule depends on your availability - whether you are able to work only 3 shifts per week or more, we will do our best to accommodate that.
This truly is an excellent position for a driven and experienced Healthcare Assistant.
So apply now and start as soon as you can.
