Job Summary:
The Quality Control (QC) Administrator and Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that the healthcare company maintains the highest standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency. This position is responsible for overseeing quality control processes, analyzing data, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the quality assurance team in continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Administration:
- Maintain and update quality control documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is available.
- Support compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Manage record-keeping systems for quality control reports, audit findings, and corrective actions.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, compliance, and patient safety.
- Monitor deviations, non-conformances, and complaints, recommending corrective actions.
- Assist in root cause analysis and risk assessment to mitigate quality issues.
Process Improvement and Compliance:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with teams to implement solutions.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, such as ISO, FDA, HIPAA, and other healthcare regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality policies, compliance, and best practices.
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in quality control, data analysis, or compliance within a healthcare or regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and healthcare compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides) and quality control software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
