Job Brief:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as Deputy Maintenance Lead in our esteened care company. The successful candidate will play a pivitol role in maintaining the physical infrastructure and ensuring the safet and comfort of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance LEad in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including scheduling and prioritising tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of the facilities, and equiptment.
- Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment, ensurring they are in complainace, with regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to maintainance requests, resolving issues efficently and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspeactions of the premises to identify potential hazards and maintenance needs.
- Assis in maintaining external contractors and vendors, ensuring quality of work and adherence to budgetary contraints.
- maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, and imventory.
- provide support and guideance to maintenance staff, fostering a positive and productive work envrionment.
Skills Required:
- Proven expereince in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Valid drivers licence.
