Job Brief:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as Deputy Maintenance Lead in our esteened care company. The successful candidate will play a pivitol role in maintaining the physical infrastructure and ensuring the safet and comfort of our residents. 



Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Maintenance LEad in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including scheduling and prioritising tasks.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs of the facilities, and equiptment.
  3. Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment, ensurring they are in complainace, with regulatory standards.
  4. Respond promptly to maintainance requests, resolving issues efficently and effectively.
  5. Conduct regular inspeactions of the premises to identify potential hazards and maintenance needs.
  6. Assis in maintaining external contractors and vendors, ensuring quality of work and adherence to budgetary contraints.
  7. maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, and imventory.
  8. provide support and guideance to maintenance staff, fostering a positive and productive work envrionment.


Skills Required:

  • Proven expereince in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Valid drivers licence.
