About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance WordPress Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling website development, server-related tasks, technical issues, and ongoing maintenance as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.

• Handle WordPress installation, hosting, server setup, and website migration.

• Manage website updates, plugin and theme compatibility, and performance optimization.

• Set up staging environments and manage website deployment.

• Integrate contact forms, third-party APIs, and other required functionalities.

• Troubleshoot website issues, including downtime, hacked websites, failed updates, and plugin conflicts.

• Ensure website security, responsiveness, speed, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Perform regular backups and implement website recovery solutions.

• Coordinate with the internal team to understand project requirements and deliver work within agreed timelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.

• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and customizations.

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Experience with hosting platforms, domain configuration, DNS, SSL, and server management.

• Knowledge of website migration, staging, deployment, and backup management.

• Experience troubleshooting technical issues and resolving website errors independently.

• Understanding of website security, performance optimization, and SEO-friendly development practices.

• Ability to manage tasks independently and provide timely updates on project progress.

Engagement Details

• Freelance, project-based engagement.

• Work will be assigned as per business and project requirements.

• Payment and timelines will be mutually agreed upon before the commencement of each project.
