Davis Cartage Company is hiring a Class A Driver for local work out of our Niles, Michigan Terminal.  This position is days, Monday through Friday with weekends off, and paid weekly at $28 per hour (straight time). Drivers are home daily and earn an average of 77k annually. Benefits begin on day one and include medical, dental, vision, as well as disabilty, life insurance, 401k with company match, paid time off, monthly safety bonus and more.

Skills: Proficient in operating combination CMV and 53' van trailers, safety awareness, comply with HOS regulations, pre-trip and post- trip inspections, load securement, on time and accurate pick up and deliveries, strong communication skills, time management, adaptability, strong work ethic and professionalism.

Requirements: Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record, two years of verifiable experience and able to pass a DOT physical.
