Davis Cartage Company is looking for a driven individual to join its Logistics Team. This position requires excellent customer relation skills, multi-tasking skills, patience, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Microsoft Office and data entry is a plus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

• Monitor and update all TMS Systems
• Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
• Report potential service failures in advance to Customers and the Operations group. Document all known service failures or plan changes.
• Monitor the availability and status of trucks and trailers.
• Assist drivers with needs/concerns, including breakdown situations.
• Answering incoming telephone calls.
• Monitor emails and respond accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Experience:

 

• Related: 2 years (Preferred)
