About the job

You will be building out our customer success team: managing a customer support rep, building decision support frameworks, and influencing product development cycles. This includes managing customer support chats on Intercom, communicating with distressed customers and ultimately deriving product insights from community feedback. 

Darkroom is not a typical "start-up" - we are profitable already, and plan to keep it that way. We prioritize a calm, collected work environment over the excessive growth-at-all-costs mindset. If you are looking for 80 hour work weeks "hustling" to make your stock options worth more on paper, this is not the place for you.

We regularly ship updates to our quickly growing community of creators. This means pushing amazing new features as well as continually improving the current product. We take pride in always pushing to have the best product possible in the hands of our creators, not just the shiny new ones :)
 

About you
You are a creator in the broad sense of the word. This is the one thing we all have in common - we love to create.  Whether that is photography, videography, software, or interpersonally, we all love to create. 
In broad strokes, you are a self-driven, generalist. You love to learn, improve, and (did we mention) create. You view customer success as a key driver of product development and value building community.
