Job Responsibilities

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager 2012/1610

Hands-on experience with SCCM 2012 OS DeploymentExpert level knowledge about PC computing hardware (desktop, laptop, tablets) - ensuring existing estate is up-to-date with latest drivers as well as taking part into PoC of new hardware model

Subject-matter expert knowledge of Windows technologies

Experience in SCCM Infrastructure migrations

Advanced OS troubleshooting skills for Windows 7 & Windows 10.

Good experience in SCCM 2012 operations like SCCM Client Installation, Software Distribution, Software Updates, Operating System Deployment (OSD) and Reporting.

Creation and distribution of customized Windows 7 and Windows 10 Image including standard software using SCCM/MDT.

Strong knowledge of Packages and Patching management via SCCM

Strong knowledge in Task Sequences

Strong knowledge in MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit)

Proficiency with PowerShell and Windows Script Host scripting technologies.

Performs UAT(User Acceptance Testing) and QA Testing for software deployments.



Skills Required

Experience in PowerShell scripting for automating the tasks in SCCM 2012.

Experience in Asset management by using SCCM 2012.

Good Experience on SCCM migrations.

Creation of task sequence in SCCM 2012 for OSD.

Basic Knowledge of Active Directory & Managing Windows 2008 and 2012 servers.

Patch Management: WSUS 3.0 and SCCM 2012/1511/1610

Windows Administration: Working knowledge on multiple Windows OS platforms, OS configuration on different roles - Domain, WINS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, WSUS - configuration and troubleshooting issues related to the above applications.

Advanced working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and other core infrastructure components (i.e.Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory enterprise design principles etc.)

 

A good awareness of audit, compliance, change control processes and procedures. Candidates will have spent a part of their career working in a mature organization with a well-developed audit control framework.
