Job Title: Supermarket Purchaser
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are a leading supermarket chain with a strong presence in Abu Dhabi and are looking for an experienced Supermarket Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the supermarket industry and be able to source products at the best possible price while ensuring timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities:
Identify new suppliers and products for our supermarkets
Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible price and payment terms
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
Work closely with the sales team to ensure that the supermarket is well-stocked and meets customer demand
Review purchase orders and ensure that all orders are fulfilled according to the agreed-upon terms
Track and analyze sales trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and increased profitability
Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of products
Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry developments to ensure that the supermarket is offering competitive products and pricing
Collaborate with the store management team to ensure that the supermarket meets customer needs and expectations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing in the supermarket industry
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
Must be based in Abu Dhabi and have a valid UAE driver's license
